The food was incredible. I have been eating the best prepared squid, ever. The employees was very nice. The prices was good.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at the Maestro restaurant. Everything was unforgettable, from the appetizers to the main course and dessert. I've never had a better seafood risotto. The staff is pleasant, attentive, and professional, and the owner is equally kind. This is a family-run restaurant, and it shows in every aspect. An unforgettable experience.

Amazing seafood risotto and octopus! The orange “caprese” cake was also amazing. The goat cheese was not really my type. Overall is a bit overpriced but that seems to be a standard in the entire island

We had an incredible meal at Konoba Maestro. We originally went for their grilled octopus after seeing glowing reviews, but since it’s a seasonal dish, it wasn’t available during our visit. Keep in mind that their menu may vary depending on the season. Instead, we tried the seafood risotto—every bite was packed with fresh seafood and infused with a rich, indulgent shrimp sauce. We also had the Croatian national dish, Pašticada, which was beautifully prepared. But the highlight of the evening was the orange polenta cake served with a scoop of ice-cold vanilla ice cream—an exceptional dessert that perfectly rounded off the meal. It was so good we returned the very next day just to have it again. If you’re looking for a cozy, less-crowded spot to enjoy a wonderful meal with friends or family, Konoba Maestro is highly recommended.

A must if you are visiting Hvar. From the service to the food and everything in between, we had a fantastic experience. The restaurant and tables nestled along a cozy alleyway that give good views of Hvar. The menu is small and changes seasonal. For starters we shared the goats cheese (as recommended, the portion was perfect for 2), for mains we had the grilled octopus with grilled zucchini on the side and the Pašticada (a traditional Dalmatian beef dish with gnocchi), and for dessert we shared an almond flour orange cake, all of which were delicious. We also shared a bottle of white wine. The overall price of the meal pp was around €50-60, worth every penny! We would like to thank Ijra for her wonderful service and knowledge, we will visit again if we are back in Hvar! (I would recommend to call and book a table in advance as to not be disappointed!)

Outstanding experience and in our opinion one of the best food you can have in Hvar! Add this place to your list when you come here. Everything we tastes was just purely delicious. They also have a great natural wine selection that pairs well with their menu. I would come back at any time. We had the octopus carpaccio, black seafood risotto and the grilled octopus tentacles. I still look at the food picture before going to bed!

Dinner for two. A very small seasonal menu that changes. We shared the Octopus Salad and Goat Cheese starters, both excellent. Followed this with the Cuttlefish (black) Risotto and Pesto Pasta. Paired with some Croatian wines. The staff very knowledgeable, service was excellent.

Nothing short of perfect in every category. The waiters were superbly tentative and mindful with food suggestions, every single thing we had was made to perfection. Highly recommend any octopus starters, catch of the day on the grill and the insane caprese cake.
